How do I import pictures off my camera?
I have a canon IXUS 500 digital camera, and normally a window comes up that starts the process of importing, but it hasn’t come up, and my computer doesn’t seem to do anything when I connect the camera to it.
I have no idea what file manager is, so can you explain that please.
——- Look in My Computer and see if the drive is there
——- Look in the camera’s User Manual and make sure you have followed ALL the steps
——- Make sure the camera’s battery is fully charged
——- Try another USB port
——- Reboot your computer (some get confused when you plug in USB stuff)
——- Try another USB cable
——- Try the PC’s card reader slot or buy a card reader
——- No luck? Go to your local Canon dealer and ask for help
