how do i stop my canon rebel xti camera from getting a busy signal when taking pictures?
i want to take pictures one after another but sometimes my camera gives me a busy signal and i have to wait a while. it is very annoying. i have a 4gb memory card. can someone please help?
You have to slow down your shooting. Take a few seconds between shots and give your cameras buffer time to write the image file to your memory card. It matters not how large you card is, but how fast you are taking the shots. Your camera is capable of shooting at 3.0 fps, 27 JPEG or 10 RAW frames before you have to wait for the camera to catch up. I know of no reason you are filling your cameras buffer so quickly, unless you are shooting it like a machine gun. Take your time, compose the image and then take the shot, Move and recompose and shoot another … If you shoot this way, you will not have the problem again.
Newer cameras have larger buffers, so when you eventually buy a new one in a few years, this problem will disappear
