What is the best ultra compact digital camera out there right now for my spec:?
I’m looking for a decent compact/ultra compact that has manual controls also. Here is a list of requirements:
Manual controls, Viewfinder, Aperture selection, 28mm lense if poss. Small pocketable.
Dont ask for much do I?!
So far from my amateur knowledge and research I’ve got the following candidates: Casio EX-Z850, Panasonic LX2, Fuji F30 and Canon s80 (altho not that small). I know ixus 800is/850is is recommended but limited manual controls. I’ve seen some good Sony’s too but no viewfinders.
I will get a DSLR at a later stage but want a decent pocket camera that will deliver on the street, indoors, parties, holidays etc. I am aware of some of the + and +’s of the camera’s i’ve listed. Im interested in your thoughts on the above and what you think is the best compact/ultra compact with a BUDGET of £300. Thanks!!!
