Which DLSR should I get?

Which one is better Rebel Cannon XTi or Nikon D40 or the D40x? I hear the Nikon works awesome in AUTO mode but the Cannnon is better just because people Jim, Bob, Jane, and Jill said so and I believe them.

I want a camera that can take moon pictures, macros of dung piles, and it must be able to feed my cat. My idea of photography is applying selective color to every picture so that I can post them up on MySpace. It must also take videos because I can’t distinguish between specialized cinematographic and photographic equipment and should also take spotless ISO 6400 pictures so I can take photos under my pillow.

I don’t want any cameras from any other brand because everything else is garbage and anyone holding something that isn’t widely popular is a loser. My budget is $250. Which one?

Also: Ken Rockwell.

this question is great. good moon pictures require a huge flash, but any camera will work. I recommend this camera http://gregrob.ca/4×5/view_camera.jpg and a 20 mile (diameter) flash

i think this sums up most of the questions that i have read…nice job.

Remember when a day at the beach meant getting away from it all, including the phone? I don’t either. While I’m all for disconnecting, that definitely doesn’t mean leaving any of my beloved electronics behind.
