Is there a tripod that will record pan and tilt of the camera?
I am not familiar with the terminology, but I am looking for a device that will record the motion or a camera that is mounted on a tripod.
I am not aware of any tripods that communicate this information to a standard, off-the-shelf camera for insertion into EXIF.
On the manual side of the spectrum, Manfrotto makes geared head tripod systems that allow you to manually set very specific degree increments in changes to the tripod head position.
