Ok, so I am looking for a digital camera that is EASY to use, and has good quality of image. I am horrible with cameras, I’ve already had a Lumix (one of the first that came out) and a Nikon, and neither works for me…now I have narrowed it down to these 3:

I’m going to say the Canon PowerShot for several reasons.
First (and most importantly), Canon simply manufactures the best cameras. They more or less invented the CMOS sensor (which is the “film” used by virtually all mainstream digital cameras), so they’ve pretty much done it right ever since.
Secondly, Canon cameras are much more user-friendly than Panasonic. I went camera shopping with my girlfriend and another friend of the family, and I recommended the PowerShot to both because it is simply the best camera for both snapshots and artistic photos. The menus are easy to navigate, and it does most of the work for you, but it still gives you the option of choosing manual exposure settings if you want – like if you’re in a dim room but don’t want to use the flash.
Finally, Canon is the most economical option; you will get a lot more from Canon for the same amount of money you would pay a competitor. Canon also has the best customer service, in my experience. I am a semi-professional myself, and I have used Kodak, Fujifilm, and Nikon, but I keep coming back to Canon because Canon cameras are a delight to work with.
