I think you should go for the Panasonic Handycams because i think the Panasonic handycam produces the best Video Quality. I think you should go for the Panasonic VDR-D50 Handycam. I found it the best from i have read about this so far. But there is only one drawback of this handyCam. There is no Hard disk in this Handycam. You can record the videos on the DVDs only. But overall it it the best handycam i have come across. This HandyCam has the 42x Optical zooming.
