Just bought a sony hdr-cx150 handycam and would like info about a fisheye lens? car mount?
I Just bought a sony HDR CX150 and will be filming some interior car stuff wanting to capture both The Passenger and the driver (right now using the built in lens with the camera centered on the dash it almost gets the shot- It just seems to cut off a little more than I want) and wondering if a Fisheye lens is my best bet. Any recommendations? Also any recommendations on building or buying something to keep the camera stable and in place ? … On a tight budget of course 
The Sony HDR-CX150 has a 30mm lens filter thread. Opteka makes fish-eye lenses for camcorders. I found one that shows it fits several Sony models (doesn’t show the CX150 but that doesn’t mean it may not work). Check out their website: http://opteka.com/lensesforvideocameras.aspx
I bought a Panavise 809 Camera Window Suction Cup Mount from amazon.com (cheap $22.94) and it works great, BUT it’s a tight fit with the camera on it on a very slanted windshield. You can twist the elbows around for the best camera fit. Also, the thing is not overly stable so you’ll get a bit of wobble. We wrapped some sponge material around the camera and that helped. A sandbag on the dash is another idea. Again, if the car vibrates, your video will show that.
