Would this allow me to attach old film lenses to my DSRL?

It will indeed allow you to attach some old T-Mount lenses to your camera, but you will find that auto exposure and auto focus will not be an option … you will have to manually choose the f/stop and manually focus the lens … just like the old days.
Some DSLR’s do not allow metering when using old manual lenses … you will have to call the Olympus help line to find out for sure how this works with Olympus cameras.
