GEAR HEAD WEBCAM PROBLEM PLEASE HELP?
I just recently reinstalled Windows on my computer and I installed all my drivers but I can’t get my Gear Head webcam to work. I don’t have the original CD, but I’ve downloaded both drivers (I don’t know exactly WHICH webcam I have) and tried both of them and it doens’t work. They install fine and when I plug my camera in I get the New Hardware Installation Wizard with “CIF Single Chip”.
I choose the first option and it barely searches before saying that it can’t find what needs.
Then I downloaded a folder with the DLL and everything in it (titled “XP”) and was instructed to choose the path for it to search for the driver. It comes up empty.
Help?? Please? I don’t know what else to do!!!!
