BlueGear netbook webcam is broken?
I have a Blue-Gear net book. Recently, I dropped walking up the stairs. The top “seam” of the computer “popped” out of place. Before this happened my webcam worked perfectly fine (this is one of the webcams which are built into the computer.). After I popped the seam back into place, everything seemed fine. Then, I hit function and the button for the camera (it’s the F-12 key, in case anyone was wondering). Nothing happened. When I go on to sites like Omegle or ChatRoulette it says there is no camera detected. Everything else on the Computer is still perfectly fine.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
This Logitech 1080p is my first web cam. I checked out reviews and decided to spend a little more to get a better web cam. It was easy to set up and it has performed well. The cord that came with it was a little too short, but since I had read the reviews, I just purchased a 3′ extention at the same time I ordered the camera. I searched for the product on Amazon and was able to save about $40 off of the regular price.
