How to Troubleshoot the Battery on a Kodak C875?
An EasyShare C875 is a digital camera manufactured by Kodak. There may be times when the battery on your Kodak C875 doesn’t work.First,check that the batteries are properly installed and fully charged.This camera is powered by rechargeable batteries or a battery pack. It can use a Kodak CRV3 lithium battery pack or two AA rechargeable lithium or Ni-Mn batteries. Over time the batteries can lose efficiency and eventually will lose the ability to charge and power the camera. When this happens, it’s most likely time to replace the batteries or the battery pack. Troubleshooting can help confirm this diagnosis.And it’s not difficult to determine what’s causing the problem.
Instructions
1.Slide the camera battery cover as far outward as it will travel and then lift upward to open the battery compartment. Tilt the Kodak C875 camera to remove the battery or battery pack.
2.Inspect the battery. Look for signs of leaking, corrosion, dents or dings. Replace the battery or battery pack if it is damaged.
3.Place the battery or battery pack into the battery charger. Plug the battery charger into an electrical outlet. A fully discharged battery or battery pack will recharge in three hours. Remove the battery from the charger and place it back into the camera. Lower then slide the battery cover closed. Alternatively, the battery can be charged while the camera is connected to an EasyShare dock. Slide the battery or battery pack back into the housing unit, close the cover and connect the camera to the dock. The bottom of the camera fits into the connector towards the center of the dock. Connect the dock to an electrical outlet and a USB port on the computer. Turn the computer on and the battery will begin charging.
4.Press the “Power” button to turn the camera on. Reinsert the batteries if you cannot turn the camera on or off or if the buttons don’t function. Align the positive and negative symbols on the battery with the symbols inside the battery compartment.If the camera still does not turn on, replace the camera batteries.
