Camera Cases Nikon
Nikon N2000 camera pricing question?
I am selling my Nikon N2000 film camera. It includes the camera, a 550 fd n vivitar flash, a 75 mm lense, all instruction manuals, and the carrying case
everything is in extremely good condition.
I am wondering what to price it at. I looked online and I couldnt really find a solid price.
Keh.com, an excellent place to get a high end bound on pricing for used equipment, has the Nikon N2000 at EX+ which in KEH standards is practically brand new for 69 dollars. So I’d probably say ~20 for the body.
http://cgi.ebay.com/Vivitar-550-FD-N-Flash-Nikon-/170484419274?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Digital_Camera_Flashes&hash=item27b1a9caca
Here’s a Vivitar 550 FD N though this seems a little low but old flashes realistically don’t go for much more than 10 dollars.
I’m guessing your 75mm lens is some sort of bad zoom, though I could be wrong here, so that’s worth just about nothing, cases generally aren’t worth much either.
So I’d price your entire setup at maybe 40 dollars. Maybe a bit more if it’s in absolutely pristine condition. I personally probably wouldn’t pay more than 20. Old film cameras unless they’re desirable for one reason or another don’t really have any value. Though keep in mind this does depend on what lens this 75mm is exactly. Try searching on KEH and Ebay for approximate pricing.
The Right Case for Your Camera
They say cameras spread out temporary insanity. Once a camera is brought out, people start acting crazy. They start posing like wannabe models and even start doing crazy things kind of trying to make their selves look funny for the sake of it. It’s the power of the camera.
It has been wonderful how it brings out such feverish fun and stupidity at the same time. That is why the camera captures excellent moments. Whether it is for modeling or just spending the good times, the camera is very good at what it does, and to catch all of these, you need the perfect camera backpack, or case for your paparazzi-ish intent.
Nikon is one of the most innovative companies when it comes to cameras and camera accessories. Now, they are also around to provide camera enthusiasts with the matching backpacks and cases to go with your beloved cameras. There are pretty much a lot of camera cases in the market, and here’s how you spot good Nikon Camera Cases.
It is amusing to know that there are a lot of varieties when it comes to camera cases an backpacks, making the right choice on what to have the same time you weigh if it’s the right one can be really difficult.
As long as you consider the fact of the genre of style and the case’s style works for you, it also is important to know and check what kind of materials which were used to make your camera’s case. Some or even a lot of them may not be the best provided protection since they may not be made of the best materials.
The Closed Cell Foam is considered to be the best cushioning system within your camera back pack. While in any camera bags and cases, particularly in those larger ones, will have some sort of to shock absorber and provide and soft and safe surrounding to your the camera and lenses.
Over time The Closed Cell Foam has a possibility to become damaged and to flake around the edges. Open cell foam is also highly absorbent, which you don’t want.
Finally, look for thoughtful features such as mesh pockets. These make it easy to see what you’re looking for. Also check out the types of pockets in the cases. Some pockets are not flexible enough which makes them not advisable storages fir your delicate camera parts and accessories.
