Sony HVR-Z5 Hard Case?
Could someone point me in the direction of a hard case/ flight case for a sony z5 camcorder. I’m going to be buying this camera very soon and because it’s quite a substantial amount of money on the line i’d like to keep it well protected.
Price isn’t really much of an issue for now, i do prefer to have peice of mind instead of saving a bit of money, but i’d like to keep it sensible. I’ve been looking at pelican cases but don’t know which 1 would be best. Would something like the 1550 do?

It depends on whether you plan to carry anything else other than the camcorder. I use a Pelican 1500 for my HDR-FX1, LANC, mic shock mount, and XLR adapter. And a 1550 and 1600 for mics, lights, spare batteries, AC power supplies, chargers, tools, etc…
SKB makes decent cases too – I use them for musical instruments.
