How To Keep Your Camera Safe When Flying
Know the airline’s rules regarding digital cameras well before your flight, and consider getting both protective equipment and some type of insurance in case something should happen. And remember, unless you plan to use it, leave your camera put away.
Taking a trip to new and interesting places is always fun, and you’ll want to commemorate your trips in some fashion or other. This purpose is a very popular one for digital cameras and other gadgets. Fortunately, you can pack your camera rather handily and conveniently in a cybershot case so you can carry it with you wherever you go. Before beginning your trip, here are a few reminders on how to keep your camera safe:
You need to know the airline’s regulations regarding taking a digital camera aboard

This way anyone who finds or picks up your camera can see the image if he or she turns on the gadget.
Only take your camera out when you need to use it
In the same way that you would not walk around unfamiliar streets waving a stash of money, you should not wander around with your digital camera exposed. Don’t take it out of your bag till you need it.
