els Looking to get a new camera and torn between 2 models Canon Powershot G10 vs Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3?
I love the design of both camera’s..And the price is similar…I would love to hear which one is better and why thanks photo guru’s!
Overall quality, the Canon is better. They have been making cameras for a long time and know exactly what to place in there and their lenses are superior to most other brands.
Glasswise, the Lumix exceeds by far due to the Leica lens. Try to search how much a Leica camera costs (old or new) to appreciate it more. You may already know that the glass (lens) is the single most important part of a camera. It’s the one that receives the image for capturing and saving.
If you want more trouble-free shooting go for the Canon. If you value glass quality more, deal with the Lumix.
