if manually charging camera battery?
okay, i found a website, that told me that i could manually charge it in case of emergency. it tells me that if i make a complete circuit, using a light bulb, copper wires, and the camera battery, i can generate some sort of power to make it charge.
it seems to me, that when we held the wires to the light bulb, all we did was transferred the energy out of the battery into the light bulb.
1. Where did the energy go to?
2. Would it make more sense to use a 9v battery to transfer the energy or would nothing happen?
You are risking the battery catching fire or exploding.
If you had just a little experience with batteries, you would know that this “website” advise it completely bogus and worse, dangerous
