I heard it in BP today at Nordstrom, the music video was playing on the little TVs. I didn’t catch who it was by, but it was a mellow song and I remember the phrase “gotta let go” or something similar in the chorus. The guy singing is sitting, he’s got longish dark hair, and wears a suit (it think, at least it was black) Later into the song a girl with long dark hair joins him, so it becomes a duet near the end. (she’s got a quiet voice, and sings looking into the camera)
Any idea what this song could be?
The song is sung by a man, it is not R&B, it’s more of a folk/acoustic type sound.
I looked, but unfortunately it is not Adam Mccoy. It’s most likely a more recent song, considering the style of the video. And you’re right, there is a girl in there who sings, but she isn’t a very big part of it.
