Can you recommend a video camera that can be mounted on a bicycle helmet?
Hi,
I want to record a birds-eye-view of my bicycle rides, using a video camera that mounts on my bicycle helmet.
I’ve seen movies made from video cameras mounted on the bike’s handlebars. I don’t like them because the mounting causes too much shimmy and shake of the video. Plus, the view never changes: it’s taken directly from the front of the bike.
I’ve also seen movies taken by a camera mounted on a bike helmet, and they’re so much better! There’s much less shimmy/shake, and when the rider turns his or her head, the perspective of course changes. Great!
So my question is this: can you recommend a specific camera that mounts to a bike helmet, that takes quality pictures, and for sound recording?
